Are you asking the right questions?

Updated: May 26, 2020

Have you ever wondered why is it that some people seem to have ease and acceptance as life sets us up with challenges? And others seem helplessly drowning when life throws them a curveball?

I am a firm believer that we attract both the positive AND the negative events in our life… and I also believe that we will not be faced with what we are not capable of handling. You might not be aware of it or believe it…but hey, you’re still here right? The quality of your questions does in fact shape the quality of your life…

Are you asking the right questions? Do you think that life happens to you, or that life is happening FOR you? Your reality will change with your change of thoughts, beliefs and awareness. I want to share with you a couple of examples that broke me out of denying this fact.

One day, I woke up feeling meh.. grumpy from the moment I opened my eyes, got out of bed and hit my little toe at the corner of the table…ouch! My reaction was to say out loud..”great!” In a sarcastic tone..thinking “what a shitty way to start the day”… well, guess what… the rest of my entire day was a series of more incidents that made me frustrated, angry and pissed… halfway throughout the day while I was in the car, I said ..out loud… “ Come ON, can my day get any worse??”

Exactly…more bad things came my way only to confirm what my feelings, thoughts and vibration was sending out.

The other example. True story I kid you not.. I woke up feeling happy and content.. I looked in the mirror that morning, and with no attachments, no reason.. I smiled at my reflection and said..out loud.. “ I am so happy and thankful for all the abundance that is coming into my life”..and walked away.

It was a good morning and afternoon, felt productive, had been hired by two more clients that day and I remember saying with a big smile..” Wow, can this day get any better?” .. and I carried on with my day.

Later that evening, having completely forgotten about the self-love talk I had between myself and my reflection, I walked into the laundry room to put the clothes into the dryer machine.

As I was taking the clothes out of the washing machine one by one, I found a crumbled $100 bill right there.. I took the bill and flattened it out on top of the dryer, so it would dry off…. And then after removing another few garments I found another $100 bill, and another , and another…. until there was a total of $1500 right there flattened out on top of the dryer.

At that moment I remembered the morning incident and laughed out loud with feelings of gratitude. Of course, turned out it was my husband who had forgotten Ito empty his pockets before putting his pants in the laundry bin.

Funny enough, we have an agreement in the house that whatever comes out of that washing machine would belong to me . How cool. Was that?

Coincidence? I think not. Life is happening for you.. always. It is a projection of what is going on in your INNER world. So when you find yourself in a situation, a struggle, a challenge…call it what you may… ask yourself “What is my role in what’s happening right now?” “How did I get myself into this?”

You will find that it was a thought or feeling or belief you have that could have been emotionally triggered a day ago or even a year ago. Think and adjust accordingly. Once you make that vibrational shift… life will continue to happen FOR you based on those thoughts, emotions and beliefs.

Life and your reality changes with your level of awareness and beliefs.
